Cette série s’appelle GODS AND BEASTS. Superbe!
In search of the sublime
“A photograph is a secret about a secret.
The more it tells you the less you know.”
-Diane Arbus
This next photo is very mysterious and powerful. It’s called THE MOMENT OF DELIVERANCE and it’s by ARASH
ASHKAR a young Iranian photographer .
BIG or small, it shows the road to Sublime. The proper of true Art.
Of women and elegance…
I gather photos as they come to my attention and that I love and throw them back at you all at once. Time consuming otherwise.
When I don’t mention the photographer’s name, it’s because it was not attached to the photo. In other cases, I always do, as follows.
ANDREAS OHLUND
ALEXI LUBOMIRSKI
MARGARETHA OLSCHEWSKI
L’oeil de Lisbeth/tribute to Lisbeth’s eye
My young friend Lisbeth Ron is doing a Master in Engineering in Paris and is a vivid photograph amateur. I here salute her « eye », her sense of artistry and her wonderful appetite for everything cultural. Nothing frightens her, she sees all the major expos, goes to concerts and opera and theatre, explores jazz, always looking for the best. And it shows in what she does on a daily basis. Frankly, there is no mistery… you reap what you sow.
Tribute#2: varia
So here are more images I loved. These have been gathered in the last weeks. I have a huge file waiting to be put online, though I doubt I’ll have time to de so.
And this clock because time flyes.
Tribute to women/ Hommage aux femmes
All year long, I come across amazing images on internet. Today, to conclude this 2011 in a beautiful way, I decided to ad them on my blog to share. I don’t know who took these photos for the most part, but I here pay tribute to their talent and to their models.
WOMAN by Charles E. Proctor
No, it’s not an EDWARD HOPPER. But it’s very inspired by his work!
Reality always has two sides…
Ahhhhhh
Peut-être une photo de Lillian Bassman
Une photo de l946 je crois. Totalement d’aujourd’hui.
Chiara Fersini’s view on Xmas
« Shooting a self-portrait is a provocative experience because it allows you to look at yourself through the eyes of others. Being aware of what you are is the most difficult thing to achieve. A self-portrait is truly an artist’s representation of self. »
~~ Chiara Fersini
Chiara Fersini has already participated in several art exhibitions and contests. Her works have been featured in various magazines such as Advanced Photoshop, NL and Fashion Capital, UK. Chiara lives and works in Lecce, Italy.

Annie Hall now
Here is a wonderful photo of wonderful DIANE KEATON, as seen through the lens of ANNIE LEIBOVITZ
Big or small, I call this aging gracefully…
